Commodo & Hacker safe

    Not sure if this is the appropriate forum - please move to a better location if required :)

    I have noticed a number of websites sporting a "Hacker safe" logo / checked daily and followed the link to Commodo. I am wondering if anyone has any opinion on this service from the point of the consumer (are these sites really safer?) and the merchant ( apart from the impression on the consumer, might this not also considered a challege to hackers?)

    Thanks for that link - very interesting.

    I guess one addiitonal point to consider also mentioned in this link is that it depends what the "guardian" is actually testing. Is it the security on the server (and this might be a shared hosted server) or the scripting of the site that you control. :doubt:
