Where did this come from? I have heard references to it before.

I saw one like that hitched outside a coffee house in Edinburgh..but Cochise was charging 20 pee for a ride.

The gloomy exteriors of these two coffee houses belie warm interiors complete with bamboo sticks, carved wooden furniture and, eyeing you from the corner of the Nicolson Street branch, a large, carved totem pole. Ask for an Illy espresso and you have a reassuring wait while it's made; on arrival it is a honey-coloured dream with an aroma of melted dark chocolate - enjoyed with a complimentary caramelized biscuit. If you're more peckish there's a choice of bagels or ciabatta with intriguing fillings such as kabanos sausage, chicken and brie, as well as chewy flapjacks and luscious fruit smoothies. The oddly shaped seating doesn't make it easy to linger comfortably, but both the Marchmont branch and its older, bigger brother seem to brim with arty types doing just that.

Wicked coffee shop, grab a Mocha & a muffin or cookie & chill out in a comfy seat. One of the best places to shake off a hangover or a hard days shopping. Also has some great artwork on display & the totem pole tops it off.

Best little coffee shop in the world, muffins and biccy's galore and a totem pole just in case. One of my favorite places in the city, great atmos and very relaxing. It's just perfect .
