Clone to a cd then transfer to another pc?

hey,

i am trying to clone a virtual computer to a laptop using acronis dds. I know there is a recovery tool that might do the trick, but i dont know much about acronis.. any ideas?

You can not use Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0 to clone disks.

Have I understood you right that you have a Virtual PC an you want to migrate this system to your laptop?

For this purpose you can use Acronis True Image Echo Workstation with Acronis Universal Restore addon. But if you have Windows Server OS, you'll have to use
Acronis True Image Echo Server for Windows or Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server according to our license policy.

You install it to your virtual machine, get an image of the whole system and store this image file somewhere.
After that you can use Acronis Boot CD to run your laptop and restore the image to the hard drive.
