We currently run a mix of 3, 4, and 4.2 clients that are updated via an internal mirror presented by IIS. If I loaded the IIS virtual directory with a cert that was trusted by the client's authority chain, would they be able to pull down definition updates via HTTPS assuming I modified the update server string?

Unfortunately HTTPS VSD updates are not supported by the version 4.x ESET antivirus client.

Well that's unfortunate, but not a huge deal. If you can throw that someplace in a pile of feature requests I would appreciate it.
