I pulled some old hardware out of my drawers over the weekend, installed ESXi..and installed ClearOS in it.

Must say....VERY well done package, solid and mature. And very rich in features. It's a "poor mans Small Business Server Premium". :thumb:

Nice features in its QoS, some UTM features, cool stuff.

even its great for home use hope they add good commercial antivirus support like avira or kis free or may be with cheap price for home users :D

my 1st impression of clearOS recipe is some thing between astaro and untangle and upgradation of ipcop/endian with really tastes yummy :D

It's different than Untangle or those...they're pretty much pure dedicated firewalls. ClearOS is more of a full SMB server/network product, combining a firewall with some UTM features, along with server duties such as print server, file server, web server, FTP server, MyPHP database, etc.

It competes with it's Uncle...ClarkConnect, and others such as eBox.
