I enjoyed reading these tests, even if they weren't "professional"

    Thanks guest ;)

Thanks for the updated tests guest.

Hope you take the advice of Mike from Online-Armor and look at say hosting your videos on a streaming video channel. Try see if www.dailymotion.com works from your country - however there are other alternatives.

And no need to get upset, your effort was appreciated by many, but you have to remember the good old saying, you'll never please everyone. :)

No need to call anyone 'stupid' because you know this forum is full of guys who clearly aren't.

It's more that people are 'skeptical', you know, unsure of someone's intentions. People might have thought for example, you were wanting to benefit from the process, as this happens on the internet.

Stay relaxed man, and if someone offends you, don't take notice of it. Be level-headed , not hot-headed  . Cool?

    Hi Guest,

I just read this full thread and it is really enjoyable to know your experience with the anti-malware testing.

Can you please try the test with trendmicro sysclean package (it is free) and scan in safe mode. I know trendmicro's security suite is not the best, but the sysclean package always helped me whenever I get problems because of malwares or roguewares.

    Thanks,
    Balaji.

    Hi,

I ve taken a quick look at the other test with kill disk virus, and off course some negative comments should not be a barrier for Guest future tests.
As we use to say in France: "Criticism is easy, but Art is difficult".
That s why there is always more people to comment tests than people ready to do them.

If a little remark is permitted, i would say that Virtualization is not absolutely neccesary. For various reasons.
More tests reproduce and simulate real life environment and situation, more interesting they are: but how many home users use full virtualization/emulation/sandboxinx as a daily protection?
In addition, many in the wild malwares are armored against virtual machines/emulators/sandboxes, and will not run or delay their execution.
A forensic environment is more appropriated: there is some hard disk which integrated a RollBack or disk imaging solution logged in the HPA (Host Protected Area): i can run any destructive virus on a live/native system, i will be able to restore my computer into a previous state.
But products like RollBack RX, FirstDefense can do the same job.

Regarding censorship, Golden Shield or not, there is various ways to bypass it: Tor is the most interesting (Tor2Web is the recent web version , andan USB version by the famous Cahos Computer Club)
You can test which domain is censored or not here (If you are in China).
As an alternative solutions, i can suggest Psiphon or Freegate for instance.

Publication on a web site or blog is a good idea.
    Best wishes.

    regards
