I thought this would be interesting for those of us who have kids. Christmas morning seems to be really hard on the parents. No doubt there comes a lot of joy seeing your kids excited about what Santa brought them. It's a hard way to get woken up though. After staying up very late getting things ready, and then having the children flying through the air and landing on top of you (as they jump in your bed) like a ton of bricks to wake you up, just so you can come see what they got, usually=the shortest night sleep you ever had.
Just tell us what happened at your house on Christmas morning. I'm betting this might be the cutest thread ever. :D
Mine both woke up at 7:00. They didn't jump in the bed though. I was already up. They've got their own TV and a ton of kids videos. They were all excited about their Santa presents, but decided to watch TV until my wife gets up. Well, I know the fun of TV will wear off pretty soon and they'll go running in to wake her up. Oh the anticipation!!!

A little update about the anticipation factor. The interest they had watching TV wore off no more than 5 minutes after posting this.

Well we had the wakeup at 4:30 am from our 4 year old. Told him Santa had not been here yet and he needed to go back to sleep. He made it until 7:00 am which is not bad! :)

I guess in a bad reflection on myself, this Christmas was a little disappointing to me concerning the lack of true excitement/appreciation from my son. May be expecting too much from him but this is the first Chrstmas where he really knew what to expect and it was not what I had hoped...

Definitely need to do things differently next year!

I Had the privedlege of keeping my grandson Elija Jacob Christmas eve till Christmas morning and I don't think he slept very much. He was intent on seeing Santa. The little stink kept me up almost all night. He is two going on ten. He was fourteen months in the picture.

The big baby in our house got up around 5:30 but that’s the time I always get up. ;)

BTW, you've all got cute kids/grandkids!
