Checkvir.com: Kaspersky get only Standard?

    Why? At av-comparatives, kaspersky aways gets ADVANCED+!

    i think each AV test has its own methode in testing and scoring AV. :D so you cant compare results from one AV test with another.

    I guess different tests are contracted by different AV companies. So one doesn't always get a clear comprehension of the whole affair.

    I think we should always take these tests with a pinch of salt.

    Kaspersky antivirus just happens to be about the best antivirus available if not the best and as such always scores very well in testing and in the real world.

    I do not think that speed is a determining factor, detection is.

    At CheckVir KAV detect all, but it did cleaned all, that is why KAV got standard there.

    Simple. CheckVir Advanced is given to those AVs that detect *and clean* the malware in the test set. KAV did not clean all the malware it detected, hence it only got Standard.
