Checking unavailable(?) websites

[Resolved] Checking unavailable(?) websites

Would someone be kind enough to give me the addy for that online service which checks whether a specified website is actually down, or for whatever reason the problem's at my end? I've gone crazy trying to do a search, both with Dogpile and at Wikipedia and in various forums, but apparently keep using the wrong search terms. Its name is some variation on "Down for just me?", and is fairly well known.
