Cell Phone Time Traveler From 1928 - MSNBC http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6a4T2tJaSU Some questions: Who was her carrier? She's got an awesome plan. Where is the nearest cell tower?
She needed to go back in time to wait in the queue for the British Telecom Helpline! I bet she's still waiting ...
1. Either the handbag comment made in the video comments section. 2. Her hand, and she's talking to the man a few steps ahead of her. 3 (I'm not a video pro), some other scene has been inserted into the clip, making this a fake (basically show me the original scene or it didn't happen). Time travel is a really, really cool idea, and I know exactly where I'd go and stay. But, the technology aside, it couldn't happen simply because of the extremely high risk of destroying history AND the future as we know it. You couldn't even help someone with a simple task without said risk. We only know about the "major players" in history. Who lived, died, did this and that, caused such and such. But what about the people like you and me, that the history books don't mention? What would be the effect of your helping them with a project, saving their life, doing anything with them? The technology is a big enough hurdle, but that's the easiest part. We as humans wouldn't have the ability to just go back or forward to a time period, look around us and immediately leave. People would just HAVE to explore, wave at somebody, try to see a historical event.
