capicomi.dll

    Has anyone come across this file? ESET flags this as a virus and cannot delete it. A google search for the file results in 0 hits. Thanks

    First of all , are you sure it is capicomi.dll , not capicom.dll ?


    Download UnDll - the DLL removal utility from:
    http://www.nod32.it/tools/undll.zip

    Extract the file into new folder .

    Run the exe file and follow the instructions (a.k.a. point the program to the infected dll , in your case C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\capicomi.dll )

    Follow the instructions , you may also need to reboot at the end

    Thanks for the prompt reply. Yes it is labled capicomi.dll. Capicom.dll is listed in the system32 folder as well, but was never flagged by ESET. I'll give it a try and post back the results.

    capicomi.dll is an unknown file must be a virus
    what virus name of this file capicomi.dll by eset?
