    Same here (still at 1.1677/20060724)

And supposedly there is even a NEW update available now (1.1679). I'm curious what will happen once NOD finally updates. If I see in the event log that 1.1678 was skipped, but that 1.1679 is showing.....going from 1.1677 to 1.1679 with no 1.1678.....does that mean that I didn't get 1.1678? Or does that mean that 1.1678 was INCLUDED WITH 1.1679?

Does anyone know the answer to this?

Just wanting to know in advance, in the event that this is the way this plays out......

    Hi guilijan,

You posted on June 25th you were trying the NOD trial.
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=136823

It would look like your 30 trial period has run out.

Yes, the answer is you get all updates, even if the log looks like you skipped a few.

    Cheers :D

Thanks for the reply and answer, Blackspear.

But now THIS is coming off like a registered user taunting and throwing it in the face of trial users who are stuck at 1.1677.

Kinda wreaks of poor taste there, guilijan....:cautious:

HI, I have unistalled Nod because it can update.
If you read my post recently in this forum you can understand why I said "and counting"

    Now I'm using KIS again.

Sorry ESET you lost one new customer.

Yes an I'm using only one pc.
    PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The really is that ESET fail to give update to trial versions ando don't recognice that.

The really is that people who can't update ghis trial version, probably don't buy a paid version.

    <snip>

So as you can see, I haven't only one pc, I have four (not in a network), and installed Nod trial version in all, but in different time, so two off them are in 30 day trial, and can update.

When you say something be carefull what you say, so you can say stupid words.

Blackspear, you said that over a day and a half ago. Has there been any resolution to the Eset server problem?

My trial version has been stuck at v1.1677 since the afternoon of July 24th. Countless manual updates yield the "Your version of NOD32 is up to date. No update necessary." message even though the program is obviously not current. I understand that paid subscribers get the updates first, but from the posts here at Wilders, it seems like their updating issues have been resolved. Perhaps it's time for the trial users to get updated, no?

An official announcement from one of the Eset contributors here would be some relief; I'd like to know that the program isn't broken in some way and needs reinstallation.

The loads have returned to normal on the servers, I think the Trial versions have been brought back into the loop, however I can not confirm this, will have to wait for Marcos to come along and comment.

    Cheers :D

EDIT: Servers indeed are back to normal and Trial versions should be updating see HERE.

I manually updated to v1.1683 this afternoon. Took about ten tries, but went smoothly after finally connecting. I immediately ran a system scan with the new virus signature database and found no threats. I'm glad that the server problems finally got fixed. Again, it's very good to have this forum to stay informed about problems.

I believe this update issue will come again when another big update is released! I have been reading this forum and realised that update issue keeps recurring whenever a huge update is released!
