Can't get Service Pack to install (Windows XP)

    Hello all.

    When I try to upgrade to SP2, the installation freezes at the "Performing Cleanup" stage. Why is that? What could be the reason? I have no idea. If anyone has any idea - please reply. Thanks in advance. ;)

    Windows legal?
    Are you running any programs in the background, like anti-virus etc?
