Can you put backup images on the same partition?

    My Acer notebook has two drives. I've been backing the C up on the D with Paragon Express. Acronis offers True Image 8 for free. I'd use it since I believe not only will it incrementally backup but I also think it will allow restoring individual files. Can I put those images on my D drive along with the Paragons? Thank You!

    You can put anything you want on the D drive as long as that's the drive that's holding your images and data etc, and you have enough space also. Each program will recognize it's own files and so on.

    You can but if the drive fails, all will be lost.

    I keep all of my backups on external and separate internal hard drives.

    You can backup onto the same partition but you can't restore from the same partition as far as i know.
