can spyware be removed from sys. without leaving any reference in register?

    Hi - I believe SpyBot & Ad-Aware will clean the registry if spyware is detected there. Since I installed SpyBot & Ad-Aware and SpywareBlaster I rarely get spyware in my computer.& if I do, a scan quickly detects it and it is removed ... anyway, so far so good!! :) One thing to remember is that if you do not check for updates & download when available on a regular basis, your protection will not be as effective. Also, I scan at least every 2nd day prior to shutting down my computer. Kinda routine like brushing teeth. :D

    Also, a registry cleaner can be used to clear any registry entries that point "nowhere" once cleaning is done... That is, of course, if the registry entry wasn't cleaned by whatever method you first used. I love easycleaner myself but there's lots out there. Just be sure to backup ;)
