Can not run NOD32 on Windows98

Could not install it from normal mode than I run into safe mode and installed it from there.

After that I started in normal mode and there was no NOD32 icon in taskbar. I tried to start it from START/ALLPROGRAMS/ESET/NOD32 CONTROLCENTER but nothing heppend.

Also on-demand scanner from desktop can not start. Probably system is infected with some kind of virus.

was in start/run MSCONFIG and disabled all except NOD32 but still problem is the same.

Can anybody of support stuff suggest me what to do?

I used TRIAL version.

 

Will it run a scan in Safe Mode in its present state? If so can you please follow the instructions found in post number 2 HERE and tweak up Nod32 before you run a scan.

You could also try uninstalling Nod32.

Delete the Eset folder from C Drive> Program Files

Reinstall a FRESH copy of Nod32.
