can not deinstall True Image Home 11

I want install the new release Acronis True Image Home 2009 and I get during the installation process the message that the configuration data for deinstallation True Image 11 is defect, please contact the support.

I can not install the new release of Acronis True Image 11.

How can I deinstall the old release of True Image 11

Thank you for using Acronis True Image

To resolve the issue please do the following:

Launch the installation file of Acronis True Image 11 Home and select "Repair" option. After that reboot the computer to complete the changes. After that you can launch the installation file again and select Uninstall/remove option. Or you can use Acronis Clean up Utility. when you're all done with that, then use a Registry tool (jv16 Power Tools or whatever you like) and do a search for "Acronis", "Trueimage" and "Fomatik" and delete all the entries you find.

Or you can try running the registry scanner in ccleaner.exe (a free utility on the web)

and it will probably catch most if not all of the remants in the registry.
