A number of days ago I had some problems with Photoshop CS5 not working with Prevx 3.0. I got some help with a beta release for the problem that corrupted my PC install so I reformatted and deactived the key for the new install. Same problems occured after another beta was handed to me. Not right away but wihtin days it started to corrupt certain aspects for XP pro. I do not know why?! Long story short, Prevx 3.0 is not Xp friendly at all!!!! I do not know if it corrupts the Boot.ini file or what so.... I went ahead and installed Windows 7 64bit. Installed Prevx 3.0 and now I cannot deactivate the key to my XP pro installation? Is that bugged too perhaps I need to activate my last and finally OS install with Prevx 3.0. If it fails me there I will just move on and let my license expire without the use of it and move on to a program that simply works. I do believe deep down your Prevx 2.0 was the bomb. I never had a issue with that program at all. Prevx 3 is another story all together. Why does it run so poorly on XP machines
Can you please contact the Prevx support inbox they will be happy to reset it for you! http://info.prevx.com/service.asp TIA, TH
We've quite honestly never had issues reported like the ones you've experienced but we did send you a very pre-alpha test version with the note that it may cause problems. If you could PM me your license key, I'll get it fixed so that you'll be able to use it properly Also, be sure that you're now using the official release from http://info.prevx.com/downloadcsi.asp
I have had issues only with Xp pro only. I have tried Vista and WIn7 and prevx works well. I imagine Prevx will work great withj XP home also. I guess its time to retire The XP pro completely, it was the kernel that Longhorn was designed around and eventually was scrapped but not completely. The work of longhorn went to Server2008. Anyways.....So eventually I was able to deactivate the key from Xp pro install and was able to transfer it to Windows 7 Ultimate on OCt 9.2010. It worked fine right up till today and now out of nowhere's it's giving me the error that the key can only be on one machine. Well it is on one machine? so I logged onto My prevx/manage license and yep, still registered to windows 7? So I uninstalled Prevx once again to only get this error Error: (CHK007) No further system changes are allowed on this license What gives? The only thing that was updated on my machine since was some updates from microsoft and Abode flash and Java. I havent changed my system since. Prevx just decides to stop out of thin air.
I've reset your license now - not sure why it would randomly stop working but if you get a different error this time, let me know. Thanks!
