Hello all, i am very new at Forums and i think this is the right area for this question. i work for a small company and i have been put in charge to the it network. i have some concerns that i do not need to act on at the moment.

if we let a person go and they happen to know how to log into an account via RDP, can i trace who and when the RDP session was started? and if they retrieved any files? is there trace of their MAC Address or any other pertinent information that may help me find out who and what happened?

I am looking to the future and i am doing what i can to make sure all passwords are changed in a timely fashion.

Is there a different forum or website that is geared to this topic of tracing RDP sessions?

is this built into servers or is this strictly a 3rd party software?

Thank you all for any help.
