I thinking about purchasing the Business Edition of the AV for a new
server 2008 install. Can anyone provide any advice or share an experience?
    Thanks,
    Chris

In a business environment, NOD32 is wonderful to use. It's light-weight and little overhead keep it from interfering with day-to-day tasks. It has a proven history of detection rates that surpass all others.

Deploying it is easy to manage too through the Remote Console.

I use it on more than 1 of my networks, big and small.

Where you will run into debate of course, is to which version to install.

I use v2.7 on all servers, just due to its longevity and proven track record. I use a mixture of all versions throughout the rest of the network, depending on the computer.

Something to keep in mind is this, if you are purchasing a Business Edition license, the minimum purchase number is 5 clients. If you are just wanting to install it on a single server, then you can purchase a single license of v2.7 and it will function on the server just fine. Any other versions require the Business Edition to use on servers.

I am having zero issues with 2008 Server and NOD32 V3 or V4 64bit edition...

I have it on all my main servers running 2k8...

    *edit appending information*

    DNS Servers
    DHCP Servers
    File system cluster servers,
    Terminal Services Servers,
    Database Servers,
    Many other servers

    Windows 2000, 2003, and 2008 Server with NOD32 AV 4.0

3.0 is going away on my network slowly..

Remember to set up your exclusions correctly.
