burn4free and spyware

I want to install burn4free but there are claims the toolbar is spyware or adware. See http://www.techimo.com/forum/showthread.php?t=120134 My question is if it is spyware is it possible to preevent the toolbarinstallation. I see one can uninstall it but would prefer not to have that crap on the pc in the frst place

Thanks strange that link did not come up when I googled. I downloaded it and scannedin downloads folder with several security programs but found nothing. Maybe they won't show unless it us installed or at least run?

 

Strange? Not necessarily. Search technique's vary.
The option I believe come's after installation, not during.
