    I am giving an old Dell XPS R350 to a charity. I cleansed the drives on it using Drive Cleanser (a small FAT drive and a 20 Gig NTFS). I had Boot Magic installed before the cleaning. I intended to reinstall the OS on the cleaned drives but I seem unable to get past a missing BTMAGIC.IMG file which must be referenced in the BIOS or some boot record which was not wiped. The error messages are:
    a line of .|...|||
    Error finding BTMAGIC>IMG
    Run BootMagic Install
    Press any key to boot active partition

    but it won't boot off the CD (It had before)

    I get the same error messages over and over again.
    Pressing F2 or F8 makes no difference
    TIA

    I unplugged the old C: drive and made the old secondary drive the primary drive and the install of the operating system went through without a hitch. :)
