The cause of your BSOD was aswSP.SYS, which is the Avast self protection driver (I assume real time protection of your AV). Is your system up or does it continually BSOD? If it is up, turn off or uninstall the AV, then reinstall R-Drive, then reinstall Avast. Something is tripping it up. Most of the time it's recommended that you disable the AV before installing most software...I've never heard of an R-Drive issue myself (I also use this occassionally). Hope this helps...let me know. Thanks.

Sorry to hear! Your last minidump definitely points to R-Drive. I've never had an issue with it, but with so many different hardware, OS, and software configurations out there, it happens. It's a great tool too. You can open a case with R-Tools...I've had great luck with their support. A few others I could recommend: Image for Windows (IFW) from TerabyteUnlimited, Drive Snaphot...

Thanks for the info. If a app. needs to reboot is adviced to uninstall with their own uninstaller firstly; after that to use Total Uninstall log monitoring to do a complete uninstall. If not issues can comes out after uninstall.

You could try installing it again, then uninstalling it by the regular uninstaller ?

Granted, but it's just a way to solve your BSOD.

Also, you may want to examine how to fully remove such software by reading the following tip found on ShadowProtect forum :

    http://www.storagecraft.com/kb/questions.php?questionid=89

Maybe the driver(s) that causes problem is not properly removed from the upperfilters that handle interaction with the filesystem. The procedure explains how to do this manually (make a registry backup first !).

thanks i followed that procedure correctly.
i also trialing active@disk image, looks good.but again when trying to save image to dvd,app sees the device but drive/speed box remains empty [no way to select the speed of dvd]..and for that reason can't clcik "next" and continue.
i tried to mail support but you have to be a customer.

Do other burning software, like ashampoo burning suite (any of the free version) works fine on your system, I mean, have you successfully burnt DVD or CD with the same burners ?

If it's slow with IFW, it should be also slow with other products, at least in full backup mode.
