Firefox 3.5 is to be released tomorrow supposedly. Is it best for me to disable SpywareBlaster's protection before I upgrade the browser then re-enable it after the upgrade?

    Or doesn't it really matter?

I forgot to disable the protection on upgrading SeaMonkey & IE 8 yet there were no ill effects.

I just wondered what the standard procedure would be for this. Thanks.

I have never disabled or unistalled SpywareBlaster for any browser updates or changes that I've made (including Firefox 3.5), and have never had any problems.

Doesn't matter which way you go... because FF 3.5 causes an incompatibility w/ SpywareBlaster. See here (which for some no one here has even acknowledged yet).
