    Hello,

I used Ad-Aware and followed all instructions in the forum topic titled, "HOW TO? Read here about how to post your log" to scan my PC. Every time I start up my laptop, I get the message: Error loading C:\WINDOWS\system32\bridge.dll. I'm interested in learning how to get rid of that.

Also, I have my homepage set to yahoo.com, but whenever I launch IE, I get automatically directed to slotch.com. I would also like to fix that.

Below is my log after running HijackThis. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Restart PC after doing so and remove (if still present) :

    C:\WINDOWS\System32\suchost.exe <- this file
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\bridge.dll <- this file
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\P2P Networking\ <- uninstall via add/remove programs

Update XP and IE at windowsupdate.com

    Hope this helps

    Cheers,
