Microsoft has just released security updates for April 2015 on today's Patch Day. Security updates are published regularly by the company on the second Tuesday of each month.

This guide offers information about all security updates released on today's Patch Day as well as security and non-security updates released for Windows since the last Patch Day on March 10, 2015.

It begins with an executive summary that reveals important facts about this update.....http://www.ghacks.net/2015/04/14/microsoft-security-bulletins-for-april-2015/

Microsoft today also patched Internet Explorer. The latest cumulative update for the browser includes a number of fixes for vulnerabilities that were privately disclosed during the Pwn2Own contest last month. MS15-032 patches 10 vulnerabilities in IE, including nine different memory corruption issues, and an ASLR bypass, none of which are being publicly exploited. The vulnerabilities range from security feature bypass, to elevation of privilege, to information disclosure, to remote code execution.

    Bump.

Does anybody know why remains unpatched the Adobe Flash Player (installed in Internet Explorer) for Windows 8.x?

    Thanks! Go to install them.

EDIT: Installed without hassle. 8 updates plus 1 optional, totally 80MB. Downloaded within less a minute and installed including reboot within 3 minutes. It was faster than I got prepared my morning coffee. :)

There is no other reason than they didn't catch the Tuesday's release. It will surely show up soon.

Yes, but Flash Player is embedded into the operating system for IE10/11 on Win 8 & 8.1
As the Flash updates are automatically be available through the built (via the Windows Update) seems weird the present delay.

Please also note that current Flash update it's a critical one, rated as "Priority 1"
Until the MS update, users of IE10/11 remain totally unprotected.......

I don't think so. Look back at previous Flash updates. Microsoft never released the Flash update at the same time when Adobe released Flash plugin for other browsers. Adobe is always the first and Microsoft follows a bit later. Microsoft needs to undertake QA that takes certain time.

Adobe Systems' update schedule for Flash Player since November 2012 also coincides with Patch Tuesday.[16] One of the reasons for this is that Flash Player comes as part of Windows starting with Windows 8 and Flash Player updates for the built-in and the plugin based version both need to be published at the same time in order to prevent reverse-engineering threats.

OK. If it is written then it has to be right BUT my experience on Win 8.1 machine is that Flash plugin for Opera has been always sooner than the patch from Microsoft. End of such useless discussion, please.

The thread is for Windows Updates.
Adobe Flash Player updates for Windows 8x systems comes via the WU, therefore my post is on-topic, imo.

I didn't say anything about off topic. I meant that you asked the question
that nobody but Microsoft staff can answer, so in this regard, our posts are useless.

    Earth .... occasionally
    Likewise !
Include me out , for now.

I'm still holding back on the two most recently offered hooligans ..... KB3021952 and KB3038314

Both of which appear to be yet another attempt to help Windows 10 to sleaze it's way into the lives of Windows 7 users.
    "GWX" ? .... Get Windows Ten ? o_O

I personally seen only few hours to maximum 1 day difference between Flash update and WU updates. This at least as far as I remember using windows 8. Why IE11 in windows 8 has not been updated is a mistery to me.
