DD10 doesn't recognize my HDDs when I boot from the CD. I get the error E000101F4 ("no HDDs found").

It's a Dell Dimension Core2, WinXP SP2, RAID1 with an Intel ICH8R/DO/DH Sata Raid Controller.

TrueImage 9 also didn't recognize this HDD (when booting from CD) but TrueImage10 did. That was the reason for me to buy DD10, I thought they will handle the same controllers...

    Help!

DD10 has been out for a while. Hopefully Acronis will release an update or new version that will support the newer chipsets directly.

Have you tried using the 'safe' mode of DD? It works on my ICH8R chipset board.

You could also create a BartPE cd that includes the Windows drivers for your computer.

Same here. There is the string "...loading" and nothing happens.

Motherboard Abit AB9 with 2 SATA drives
    JMicron JMB36X RAID Controller.

BTW, the Acronis Startup Recovery Manager killed the MBR.

    Hi,

like MudCrab said: Use the PE-CD - works great and you can use every Windows-Driver...

I hope there will be a BartPE - Vista sometime for you can import the drivers from ANY reachable device - not only A:

Thanks for that hint. This works (though I don't understand why).
Hopefully Acronis fix that in a future release. Operations started from windows, where corrections are done during a reboot, fail.

So I have to do modifiactions only from the Boot-CD in the meantime.

    Thanks again!
