Boot sector virus and NTFS file system

    I'm just wondering, can the boot sector virus infect the NTFS file system ? cause I've heard that almost boot sector viruses are outdated.

    And if it does, can we fix it with fdisk /mbr ?

    As far as I can see, data on ntfs are far better secured than on FAT. If you start windows with ctrl-alt-del, any unauthorized process (your virus) will be killed, so there's a security measure you better take.

    Cleaning: fdisk is not that bad, but you better use a cleaning tool.
