    Hi

I updated Boclean on the 18th and it died.

Read the posts here about e-mailing upgrade@nsclean for an upgrade.
Sent a E-mail on the 19th. With my registration information.

Waited till the 22nd. With no response.

Sent an E-mail to support@nsclean.com this morning, no response.

I have always received a prompt response from Kevin or Nancy.

I?m at a loss on how to proceed with communicating with them.

Would appreciate any help the members can offer.

    Regards

Not speaking for Privacy Software, but I'm sure they have their hands full with the recent issues with piracy.

Give 'em a bit more time, GG. They'll get back to ya.

Just thinking it might be, as in another similar case, perhaps that PSC sent you an email but it was blocked by your ISP's system since the attached executable (the BOClean upgrade) was above their limit?

You might try posting at PSC's support forum and see if you can receive a response that way since it sounds likely that there's an email issue raher than unresponsiveness on PSC's part.

    Hi Gerry,

I have send you an IM on this board; please check it :)

SIG could very well be right:
your provider could well have blocked the exe file.

And JimIt could also be very well right:
these days, given the circumstances, PSC might be extremely busy and emails from them might take a bit more time than usual.

    Anyhow, check your IM.

    Cheers, Jan.

Just for informational purposes, and to prevent future concerns when people want notification of program updates, here's how to get on the BOClean update mailing list:

"Our trojan databases are updated whenever new trojans are encountered. This can range from daily to as long as a week between updates. We expect you to collect them on your own without notification, so you may want to bookmark the BOClean Update page and check it frequently. If you send an email to register@nsclean.com with a subject line REGISTER BOCLEAN, we can notify you by email whenever there is an update if you wish. "
    http://www.nsclean.com/supboc.html

Otherwise, when the BOClean folks say they won't send you any emails unless you specifically tell them to, they mean that. ;) They don't spam their customers so to keep in the loop, getting on their update info mailing list seems the way to go. In this case, the nature of the concern (piracy) apparently is why no public notices were made on the site or forums prior to the event. It looks like for users of the current version this event will not reoccur, but it now seems to me that signing up for their update notifications would be a good idea and so I did. :)
