Blocking Unwanted Parasites with a Hosts File

Well maybe not exactly the correct place on Wilders for this, but I think it's close...

I'm not sure if anyone has seen this site before, really nice Hosts file list;

I think even if you're using several browser addons, Adblock, NoScript, etc., this list certainly looks like a nice addition...

 

It used to be updated more frequently. Now it is updated only monthly. There is another hosts file that is updated more frequently: http://hosts-file.net/
In the past I used to use HostsXpert http://www.funkytoad.com/index.php?option=com_content&id=13 and use both files merging them.

 

spybot search and destroy has an immunize function that adds a huge block list to your hosts file. also modifies firefox to block images and popups that are infected.

maybe overkill though.

 

I use hostsman which has mvps,hp hosts and some ad servers also and it updates automatically!
