Given some of the deals we see, this one doesn't look too hot. At least that was my initial impression when I saw it on bitsdujour.com. I never did have much success with BitDefender tech support when I was running their AV not long ago. They were either real slow to respond or failed to respond to basic false positive emails submissions, as I recall. Too many better alternatives out there and at better values. (Thanks for the heads up, though!)

 

Can still get it cheaper on ebay.

 

Ebay isn't safe and trustworthy. I have read on many forums about ebay rip-offs.

Best to get it straight from the developers. If you like their product, best to support them (when the price is good).

 

Sorry, but I disagree. Check feedback on the seller before you buy. I have over 200 transactions on ebay, and a problem with only one of them. I have purchased software on ebay about 4-5 times, and never had an issue.

I am not trying to promote ebay, but people should always shop around for the best deals. Pricewatch also is good.

LOL with the price of the pound over here, I don't think we are buying anything.

We used to get over 1.5 euros for our pound, right now 1 euro is worth more than our pound,

So, everyone needs to drop their prices even more ...

 

On the other hand, it's a good time for euros to buy stuff priced in $ (i have overdone this lately).

You can always join the euro zone, you know! You will be assimilated. Resistenace is futile.

True, but it cant be that bad, as the Euro is still holding strong against the GBP and most of Europe use that.

anyway, back OT... good price for bitdefender, even more so with a 51% discount, totally worth it
