BitDefender Antivirus FREE for everyone on Friday 13

Heaviest anti virus i have ever tried. I don't care if it detects every malware known to man, to me it's pretty much un-usable in its current state.

i would say it s like CA antivirus in terms of usability but with superior detection rates

 

I installed just once on my system. Initially all ran well but after some hours later it started to become unresponsive and would freeze my system

 

Friday, 13 and bitdefender=scary combination jk

 

During my tests on Windows XP SP3, it activated successfully and downloads all required update --> Reboot. Now whenever I right click on a file/folder, there is nothing like 'Scan with BitDefender' / ’scan for threats’ etc. It is cumbersome to scan via interface.

 

I have BitDefender 2010 about 10 months now, never had problem with it, and my PC is much clean and fast... I think from 2010, BitDefender is more fast that other versions...
I still do not want to turn to 2011 to resolve some bugs...
