And now, in this Netrunner Magazine article, we vote and elect the best Xfce distro for this rapidly waning year. Enjoy. http://netrunner-mag.com/best-xfce-distro-of-2014/ Cheers, Mrk
These might not be among the best XFCE distros of 2014 in your books, Mrk , but I have used them all and I rate them very highly... #3. Linux Lite 1.0.8 #2. openSUSE 13.1 (must choose XFCE during installation) ...and my new favorite #1. Manjaro 0.8.11
This old Linux Lite release was nice indeed, but I was very disappointed by the latest (2.2). Manjaro is nice indeed!
Manjaro runs so well on my ageing hardware, that I'm even willing to go without AppLocker. In terms of running securely on Linux, it's probably overkill anyway.
Hi Igor, sorry for being critical, but in your reviews has there ever been a winner that it's name does not end in ...buntu or it's not a ubuntu derivate? Every time that I read your best distro reviews it's like I know the result already ".... And the winner is … *buntu" Panagiotis
Because that's how it is. Like saying why Audi and BMW are always better than competition? Because they are. Mrk
Audi and BMW compete also with each other... in your articles Ubuntu seems to compete with Xubuntu, Kubuntu you name it ...buntu. Not even with an ubuntu derivate that does not have the "buntu" part in it's name... *buntu is good but not that good... Panagiotis
