I didn't think the firewall version of OA had been released yet. Is it ready?

As a lot of people are using Boclean I thought I'd take a look. Was a but disappointed to read http://www.anti-trojan-software-reviews.com/review-boclean.htm

Not really interested in anything memory resident - so does this ruke out Boclean
? if so is there a good on demand equivalent ?

I would not take much notice of the test results at this site. The total sample size is so small as to make this test practically worthless.
Depends upon your AV program; if weak at trojan detection you need a memory resident AT such as BOClean, (very light in real-time). However, if you are using an AV such as KAV, then only using only a free on-demand AT scanner will suffice such as AVG AntiSpyware.

Funny you should mention AVG - I have just downloaded and it is now running.
My security is based upon a Hardware firewall plus avast ( set to Web and mail only), ProSecurity with nothing else running. The fall back is based upon Acronis system images.I would prefer to not have programs slow my machines down and to revert to a clean image if necessary. For me it looks like AVG might be the answer ?

No software purchased, no real need to spend any money when there are so many great freebies out there.

    Cheers,

i know that ssm and ProSecurity have a seasonal discount, they are probably a good buy. My choice is the latter.
