I second that motion. HTTrack is THE best (and free). But it's a little confusing at first (and don't worry if it seems to take an eternity after you click "next" on "new project" screen.. it's natural)
Also, you may want to try "Internet Researcher" and "Offline Explorer Pro"... they're not free, but heavily recommended, powerful and easy to use.
Note if u'r a programmer of decent skill... HTTrack is the way to go... it's open source I believe

    Hello friends..
yah i think HTTrack is good freeware. But if someone has used MetaProduct Offline explorer pro/enterprise, then he/she must say HTTrack simply sucks.

but the problem is it's not freeware. It's a great software n can be used for 1 month free. ~snipped request~ - Please review our TOS - snap

Plzz help me. mail me at xxxx(at)yahoo.com

    Thanks in advance

Yeah, I agree that HTTrack is a nice freeware. I used it for a while, and I liked it. Another choice is Teleport Pro (not a freeware), which is also quite good too. Try them out and see which one is good for you.

Interesting program. How do I configure it properly given my specs in my signature?

    I am on a 512kb connection.

    no need to configure...
    just use straight away...
there would be things like max simultaneous connections and all in the netwoek settings though... use higher settings than your Download Manager...

    Interestingly... Here's a download manager-cum-website spider.....

    www.freedownloadmanager.org

    Previously with spyware...
    Now spyware free
    Definitely a good choice
    Highly customizable.

Has anyone used the program "Web Site Downloader" at ht tp://www.web-site-downloader.com/entire/screenshots.aspx ?

Is it me or do the screenshots look EXACTLY like HTTrack Website Copier? Except Web Site Downloader costs $15 dolaronis. How disgusting is that? (Using the inflections of Rachel Ray)

Any idea Rick if the totally legit.
Web Sites can tell if someone is, or has, used HTTrack, on their site ?

The reason I ask is that I could do with downloading a lot of Data
from a particular 'log in' site, but I just don't want to jeopardise
being able to log in future.

I mean I can look at the data no problem, and I am able to print screen and glue pieces together,(a PITA) because NO web scrolling capture App. is capable of grabbing same, (the site header continually repeats down the scrolling capture). They don't mind how many times one returns for however many pages of this Data one requires, BUT, only via how I've described.

When I read HTTrack I thought maybe there is a possibility to download
many full pages at once, rather than having to glue the bits together via Irfanview - hence the reason for the question.

    Regards.

I thought, this was just a "one page" copier .....I mean, it only copies and takes the whole snapshot of one page in a website that's why its called scrap book extension. It can takes snap shots of every page you view completely of what you see in the pc screen.

Are there any difference with this to what the Full Website downloader can do? o_O

    Hello,
You can choose the level of depth you want to save.
