If i'm not wrong, Paragon products don't backup MBR and First track when making backup to CD/DVD or making iso that latter will be burned to CD/DVD, either from Windows or from Bart CD.

    How important is this?

What are advantages and disadvantages of this sort of backup without MBR and First track?
If possible can someone explain this in details, please.

What will happen if MBR is affected by a virus? Is there an way that First Track and MBR can be saved separately?

When booted from WinPE environment can First track and MBR be saved?

Yes , just select it in the "What to back up" window , then back it up on it's own . A separate small archive will be made - just restore it exactly as you would any other backup archive - using the restore Wizard.

You can do exactly the same from the WinPe disc.

In any case , it is easy to rewrite thw mbr code - Paragon has a function for it - rt click the Hard Drive ( not a partition ) in the Disk Map menu and select "Update MBR".

That will write a standard mbr code to the drive which is capable of booting any o/s.

Plenty of other apps. will do it too - mbrfix., Easybcd, bootsect.exe, etc, etc.

    Hope it helps.
