Backing up folders vs entire drives

Can True Image back up specific folders in My Documents or under my C Drive to a network drive?

It appears that this product is only capable of making a complete image of my hard drive or partition and not specific folders.


Is that true? If not where do I select only specific folders to back up?

 

TI is and always has been sector based and not file based. With the exception of certain optimisation measures (e.g. pagefile omission) files do not come into the equation.

If this is something you really want to do with TI, it can be done by creating a small partition and assigning your 'My Documents' folders to reside there (look at "target folder location" under My Document properties). You can then do regular automated and incremental backups of your my documents files.
