BackDoorBam ?

    My firewall keeps stopping an item called
    BackDoorBam
    anyone know anything about this? I cant find it in my list of protected items...

    Hi cheray,

    This is a trojan in fact; you'll find the specs over here.

    Is your firewall stopping this one inbound or outbound?

    I'm moving this thread to the Trojans forum.

    Salute Cheray,

    Well thats achually a trojan horse... and ur anti virus is stoping it because of two reasons...

    1 : it may be trying to connect with an outside system or
    2 : an outside system is trying to connect with you using tht..

    both the cases without ur permission and most likely the first case...

    best advice is u scan the system with a anti trojan software like ... Trojan Hunter, The Cleaner, TDS...

    and try to remove it from ur system....
