This is the Nod32 forum so you can only expect one answer.
Unless of course you want a freebee in which case AVG
Nod32 has lots of options and I have found it vgood after using AVG pro 6/7 for a couple of years

Nod32 2.7 can deal with spyware (it's up to you) but you must define what you consider to be unwanted malware etc.

AVG free and AVG Pro don't have anti-spyware protection . You need to get AVG Anti-Malware which includes AVG Antispyware (known as Ewido) if you want antispyware protection .

NOD32 is ,in my opinion, the better one , it includes protection for all kind of threats , incluing spyware and PUPs + rootkit protection and the best heuristic technologies to protect against new malware . More here , here and here . Remember that the final choice is always yours ! :thumb: ;)

I have answered you in your thread about NOD32 , laptops and Wi-Fi connections . NOD32 is anti-virus/anti-threat system , connection types are no problem for such programs

Another thing, is that AVG has NO heuristics, when
www.av-comparatives.org tested this in may 2005 the percentage
of malware it could find on it's heuristics were 0% compared with NOD32 90%

The latest versions of AVG does have heuristic scanning. It improved a lot since 2005 but still probably not in the league of nod32.

    I totally agree. :D
I've tried many top AV products, and I stick to NOD32... the greatest heuristic machine there is... low memory print... one of the best detection rates. If you're concerned about spyware, try AVG Anti-Spyware. I've been recommended the AVG AS by some of these great :thumb: Wilders :thumb: and I am very satisfied with it. I use it as on-demand scanner and there are no compatibility issues. As a matter of fact, NOD32 and AVG AS work wonderfully together.
    Cheers
