Delighted to say that autoupdate appears to have worked fine this morning!

 

Could some one clarify what they mean by automatic updates? Are you referring to Ewido/AVG updating itself or clicking updates in the UI and updating that way? Both are not manual updates to me. Manual updates is going to the Ewido site and getting the update file and manually installing it. Where is the problem that is being discussed?

 

Auto-update works only on the Plus and Trial versions, not the free version.

 

The thread itself started out concerning the inability of Automatic Update to start it's process to check if updates were avaialable. However....as noted in karl.ewido's post here....that problem was fixed with the release of Version 7.5.0.50.
