Just now, I created an account at Avast forums, logged out and tried to log in. It took one second to log in there after identifying all the motorcycles there. It's 5:00pm Eastern Daylight Time here in New York City. I clicked on random sub-forums and threads--all loaded instantly for me. I'll check again later too.

Seems to be sporadic for many, from what I've read. :cautious:

Edit: tried again to log in at Avast forums and it was instant. Click-clacked on various random threads and they all loaded fine. Hmmm. 7:30 EDT New York City, United States.

If anyone has an issue that Avast needs to know about, it seems almost impossible to inform Avast. All this technology only makes that harder.

If this issue is local to the UK, surely only Avast can fix it. Please can someone who is able to logon to the forum send a message to Avast.

I'm having troubles to see the screenshot (bad eyes here).
Did you mean this one https://213.123.242.187 ?
If that's indeed the case, then FF gives a warning here too (just tried):

The warning I get on Vivaldi when going to the IP address is..

    Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from 213.123.242.187 (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more
    NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

This server could not prove that it is 213.123.242.187; its security certificate is from a248.e.akamai.net. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection.

Also clicking on the warning triangle in address bar I get

I have contacted Avast support by phone and reported this issue. I am surprised that there is no contact through which to raise Avast website issues. Avast seems quite oblivious of them. Presumably it is assumed that they cannot hjappen.

Yup! Avast Forum is back. I use it to maintain my stock of the most recent past offline installers of Avast Antivirus. You never know when you might need to revert to a previous version.

    Does anyone care about AVAST?
For me this company is burned, together with AVG.

    AVAST compromised user data.
They also offered compromised download of CCleaner.
AVAST is bloated and not worth considering install.
    I call it burned.
