windows 10, with latest version of avast 2015 premium. I read somewhere that avast firewall is compatible with windows firewall, so you can leave it on if you want. The avast faq says you CAN turn it off, as the avast firewall is a complete solution on its own. but which is better: leave windows firewall on, or run avast firewall alone?
I would follow what Avast says. If they say you can disable WFW then do it. Why should you have unnecessary app on?
