Just decided to install this public beta and have a quick look.
Installed no bother at all, will it update, will it hell?

    Username/Password prefilled, updv4/********

Fails every time its prompted to.
Guess that was a quick test then.............................

Did you remove your AV prior to installing NOD32?
Did you check to see if your firewall is allowing updates?
Are you getting any messages under Log files->Events?
The more info you provide, you better able we are to help you.

AV removed prior, only running windows firewall as behind NAT router.
Removed Beta and returned to Avira. Will trial when stable.

    Thanks for swift response.

Did you reboot your pc after installing the beta?

Also, make sure you leave the update details default.

There's a bug in the beta which has been identified and fixed. Uninstalling and installing the beta from scratch should do the trick. If not, make sure to remove the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ESET\ESET Security" manually before installing the beta from scratch.

I still think there are problems with the update.
