I want to add some extra template slides to Impress as the vanilla version has a bit of a paucity compared to LibO. I have found an interesting extension for more slides but I am not too sure how to add the extension. Can I just download the installer & run it?

    Does anybody know? :doubt:

I am not so sure about the process in your link, but I have discovered that a downloaded installer can be run & installs itself in the Extensions Manager.

I've used OO for nearly four years & never had a problem with it. LibreOffice, which I used for a few months has always been glitchy. I finally uninstalled it when it wouldn't even run basic presentations. I had both LibO & OO on my desktop until LibO advised not to run both with the last release. Well, I only run one now: OpenOffice!

There's some chatter in threads over here about an imminent 3.4.

It looks like the US English version of 3.4 is out here.
