AOL VirusScan Plus

    Who tested this suite?
    Is it free as AOL AVS was? :rolleyes:

    I'm using it right now. It's free...but you have to register for an AOL email account to receive it. This suite would be great for someone who doesn't know too much about computers (like my sister or brother). There's no adjustment for the update frequency, nor actions to take if a virus/malware is discovered (it automatically quarantined the two I threw at it). The firewall is simple yet adequate, IMO. It has spyware protection built in but still I turned Windows Defender back on just to be sure.

    All in all I think it's quite nice but I'm ready to take this sucker off for it appears the user has very little control.
