Does anyone know of a tool that's made specifically to uninstall .NET Framework 3.0 from Vista? I disabled it a couple of weeks ago through Programs and Features>Turn Windows features on or off, and I haven't had any negative fallout as a result but it didn't free up any disk space either. I'd like to just uninstall it if possible. Any advice?

It seems that your claim is not advisable.

    - You can use "NET Framework-CleanUp Tool".

    - A stand-alone app. to check what .NET versions you have installed in your OS: "NET Version Detector".

Note: If in your side I would do: 1) Uninstall all .NET; 2) Install what suitable to your system; 3) Install with a snapshot uninstaller, to allow to do a clean uninstall later.

    Thanks for the replies.

That .NET Framework Cleanup Tool doesn't uninstall 3.0 on Vista. Everything I've read says it's not a good idea. I was hoping someone might have found a way to do it without causing any harm. I'll probably just leave well enough alone. :)

It seems to me a prudent decision.

    ;)
