I currently have AVG free edition anti virus installed, but I soon want to uninstall it and get NOD32. I have heard that some anti-virus programs (mainly Norton) do not uninstall cleanly and leave tracks of the program all over the computer in the registry and such, and then when you go to install another anti virus program you run into problems. Has anyone experienced this with uninstalling AVG, or does it uninstall cleanly?

I've used AVG free in the past. I usually delete what is left in the Grisoft folder in program files.

You can use a registry cleaner such as Regseeker to clean deeper, although those entries don't seem to harm anything.

AVG seems no worse than most programs as far as files left behind is concerned.
