any norton internet security deals around

i have a good freind who swears by nortons and has for years he will not use anything else i told him since his lic is up id see if there were any great deals around i could find.. possible a free after rebate?? anyone seen anything on the 2008 version?? thanks in advance

I personally like the OEM deals better than the rebates but I realize the rebates can be pretty good too. Here is another Norton deal, but for 360 and a free flash drive. $15.99 with free shipping.

If you don't see anything that interests you just wait another week or so and see what goes on sale again. I have seen that Norton IS/Ghost/PM combo on sale free after rebate a couple times this year. And it is not that unusual for Norton to have a major discount or free after rebate offer for their internet security/360.

 

I'm gonna take a look around the sites that's mentioned to see if I can get some deals on privacy software. This is the first time I came across coupons for such software.

It looks like buycheapsoftware.com wants US$55 plus five bucks for shipping for the retail box. Go to symantec.com and they'll sell you the 3-user download for US$60 and there's no shipping. So I'd just go with the download at that rate unless you want to take advantage of one of the many rebate deals.

 

Do you have Fry's stored in your neighborhood. In mine they always have great details on Norton software for little or nothing. Yes nothing!!

It looks as if they mentioned the features of Norton 360 instead of Norton internet security 2008 on that page.

according to bigc's screenshot above, it does.

 

I think that is 360's features instead of NIS. NIS has no backup, PC tune up, or the online storage.

after a quick search, there are people selling the suite advertising that it DOES include the online storage.
