Has anyone seen any results yet for Microsoft's OneCare 2.0? The only things I've seen thus far (including AV-Comparatives) is for the 1.6 version of the product. I'm curious as to how effective it is in this new version (to decide if I buy a license and keep OneCare or put my old Norton 360 license on a new family PC).

I've seen nothing formal. Trialed it on my Dell XPS for about a month with no perceptable performance impact so I picked up a One-Care 2.0 package today at COSTCO for $9.99. Figured what the heck, it's worth that to see how well it works in the long run.

That's the same boat I'm in. Its the best I've seen in a long time with regards to not slowing down your PC, but I wouldn't mind seeing how it stacks up with the rest.

I looked around when I had OC but I never saw anything definitive. Reviews only mention the 1.6 Proactive tests IBK did.

It doesn't mention what version it tested from what I can tell.

Still, not bad even if it was the old version. Thanks for that test CSJ, I may see if they can tell me what version they used.
