to me it means he should have gotten his key asap. That is why he needs to check with newegg as to what the issue is. I, as we know, dont represent newegg or eset so it really is hard for me to say. One way or the other, it will get work out for him. We take care of our own here, dont we.:)

also jjc225, I like McAfee, and have said for a year now it is as good as the best here.

Trjam, All is well buddy. ESET is activated and running a scan as we speak :) I haven't used ESET since V5.

I agree he should double-check on his order. (I see he has it. Good.)
Your term "immediate download" caught my attention.
I did, however, download the installer, but will wait to install & activate until sometime in 2014.
    Hopefully, that works fine.

USA still the best. But barely.
Long ago I belonged to a forum that when you typed mcafee. It set off the expletive filter & came out ******, mc**** or some such. A lot of us thought it was pretty funny. I still do. :argh:

I did the same, downloaded the installer and filed away the key. Does anyone know if there are time limations with respect to either the installation file/downloader or the key?

Looks like the deal is still live, with only Norton being out of stock.
Wonder how long they will run it?
I haven't seen the 11-27 expiration date listed anywhere.

I can't understand people paying for AV's and security suites nowadays- plenty of free ones.

Yeah, the $4.99 deal was supposed to end 11-27-2013 or sooner based on availability according to this promo:

    http://promotions.newegg.com/NEemai...3-Index-_-E0-_-All&et_cid=3081&et_rid=8119587

Second item from bottom of page. A 72 hour sale. But I'm glad it's still active.

If ESET were Free I would still pay to show my support and appreciation for a great working piece of software.

I typically only buy things that I know I'm going to use and if it's a great deal or steal. Like whenever I have the chance to get WSA complete or IS for less than $10. Sandboxie lifetime was only $20 when I got it. That was a great deal.

As I am sure some of us wouldn't understand the way you choose to spend your money.
Ultimately, what does it matter whether or not you understand?
    Happy Thanksgiving, Malware fighter.

I see now. And still it continues.
A great deal for everyone except those who only use free software!

    Malcontent,

Much thanks indeed for the link. I always wanted to use NOD32, but the price put me off. Duly paid for at this great price (still good today the 28th) and am running it now!

For people living in the States, Staples (online or in store today) is offering Kaspersky Internet Security 2014 - one person for Free after $45 easyrebate. EasyRebate is their online rebate center.

Stores open at 8pm today. I just picked up a 12sheet shredder online for $20 after rebate and a 1TB Toshiba portable for $50. They are also offering a Dell wireless laser printer for $30 online or in store.

Sure is, yes that's what you believe but if that is true or not is impossible to answer I think, and it also comes down to what each person thinks and even what software in particular we're talking about.

Probably works the other way around from time to time... deals available only outside the USA. Don't know. Is this why so many love coming to America? ;)
